Fleas

Reduces flea feeding in five minutes. Fleas infesting a treated dog are killed in as little as 2 hours for a full month. Fleas are dislodged from treated dogs and start to fall dead in five minutes after infestation. Active on both Ctenocephalides felis (the cat flea) and Ctenocephalides canis (the dog flea).

Ticks

Kills the three main European tick species of dogs for a full month (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus) and up to three weeks (Dermacentor reticulatus). Also repels, with a ‘hot foot’ action that sends ticks up the hair shaft and off the animal after contact.

Sand Flies

Repellent action against phlebotomes (Phlebotomus perniciosus) starting from the first day after administration and lasting for a full month. 

Mosquitoes

Repels two species (Culex pipiens, Aedes aegypti) and kills the aggressive Aedes aegypti. Stops biting. Total of over 85% reduction in feeding, starting from day one and lasting for a full month.

Stable Flies

Kills Stomoxys flies on contact and prevents them from feeding. V3D repels flies to help protect dogs from painful bites.

Immature Fleas

Vectra 3D’s IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) provides ongoing protection against flea eggs, larvae and pupae that stops fleas from developing to adulthood and eventually killing them. Protects the dog for a full month to break the flea lifecycle and protects the dogs environment for two months to prevent future infestations.
